These are a few of my Favorite things....

My friendship with Mohamed.
A Kenyan who joined the Marines & now is gearing up for his
second run for the Kenyan Parliament.
Learning to Knit (another Christmas suprise!), pilates videos & Trader Joe's Teas.

My Holga camera with it's polaroid base.
I can't tell you how much I LOVE this piece of plastic!

A new calendar made by Emily. I can't get enough of my nephew...

Vegetable Curry ala DFAC

The simple things keep me sane. While the work is meaningful, time is going A LOT slower. I need to send a shout out to Morgan~ your family Christmas letter is on my wall at work. Thank you! I LOVE seeing your family grow! And Emily, those calendars....you couldn't of done anything sweeter. Thank you!

Ankle update: I'm off the crutches, but walking very, very, very slowly. The pain is suprising. Anyone who has a recovery trick...lay it on me. I'm willing to try anything that will help this heal faster.

Lastly, a funny side note. Max has a 'new' haircut (BY ACCIDENT!) Apparently the groomer decided to shave him like an actual poodle. THE HORROR! His sub-mommy Kirsti & Lambsons have started calling him Minimus. All while counting the days until his curls return!! THANK YOU Jeanne for the update!!

Sending my love!

LOL! I love this post and the horror Max must be going through! My own Max has undergone some pretty bad haircuts at my own hand!

The best way to rehab is to just cut it off... It may sound harsh, and you may have phantom pain, but at least it'll only be in your head, and not real pain.

And Max posing as a real poodle... that deserves it's own Mastercard Commercial:

Poodle T-shirt: $7
Poodle Haircut: $20
Having Max be "Minimus": Priceless

Oh man, I would love to
a) enjoy knitting
b) have the time and energy for it
and
c) be good at it.

Good luck! Those Stitch n Bitch books look SO cute!

I can't imagine your life right now, hobbling around mere days after a horrifying dentist appointment. :( Either of those events would have me in BED!

P.S. Thanks for the 'meme' comment...I thought no one read that blog! I'll do more from now on. :)

Hey you! I need your address to send you some arnica. It helps internal ANYTHING heal, oh so quickly! Plus care packages are fun to send. How are you doing out there? Did anyone let you know I'm six months knocked up!? :) So not loving changing shape, but Cory is so freaking sweet about baby and Gabriel talks to his little sister every day. That part rocks so much it makes it almost worth not fitting any of my clothes. Give your puppy a scratch and a kiss from us. Hope you are doing well.
